Please note that an author of an accepted paper
must register for and attend the workshop and present the paper for it to be
published in the proceedings. Regular (not student) Authorís registration
assures the inclusion in the proceedings of only one paper. An extra charge of
Ä 100 fee is due for each
additional paper covered by the same registration. Papers
that do not meet these requirements will not be published. No exceptions.
(Draft) Full Paper Preparation
your paper through EDAS
Prospective Authors of papers are invited to
submit a draft paper (typically 4-5 pages in standard IEEE two-column format)
via the EDAS site suggesting the related Technical Session. In addition, papers
on other research topics and application areas within the scope of the RTSI
2015 are welcome. The paper should contain a complete description of the
proposed technical contribution along with some results, suitably framed in the
related state of the art. Each paper will be reviewed in terms of relevance with
respect to the scope of the event, originality and quality of the technical
content, overall organization and writing style. The paper must be prepared
according to the Preparation of Papers for IEEE TRANSACTIONS and JOURNALS
Submission of papers implies intention to
register and present the related content at the conference. Proceedings papers
presented at the Conference will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore
The maximum length for final papers is 10 pages
without exceptions. The typical length of papers is 6 pages.

submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore digital library and indexed by

and establish an account with a username and password.
of Initial (Draft) Full Paper
- Visit the RTSI 2015 Submission Portal (https://edas.info/N19851) (and click the link to create a new account,
if you do not already have an account. If you have an account, log in to EDAS.
- Create your profile. Only the five fields with
the red asterisk are required. It is very important that your name and
affiliation associated with your EDAS account are correct and match the name
and affiliation that will be listed on your paper. These fields are first &
last name, affiliation (company or organization), country, e-mail address, and
status. When the fields are filled in, check the Privacy Policies box and click
the Add Person button. [note: if you select USA as the country, you
will get a message asking for your state]
- You will receive an e-mail containing your
password. Your email address and the given password must later be used to
access the system during the following steps, so be careful to remember it.
- You can then return to the EDAS log-in
and change your assigned password to one that is easier to remember. To do
this, click on the My Profile tab, and then click on change your
password. Be sure to record your user name, password and ID number for later

follow these steps:
- Type in the title of your initial full paper and
select the topic area your paper falls under best. [note: This will help in choosing the reviewers.
The PDF of your initial full paper will be uploaded later].Click
the Submit button.
- On the next page you will see a large green
check mark and a statement that the paper was recorded.
- Manuscript is
used to refer to the PDF form of your initial full paper.
- The last row says Review Manuscript,
and has an icon of a yellow folder next to it. Click on this icon, and then you
can upload the PDF of your Initial Full Paper on the next page.
- You can also upload the paper by clicking
the My Papers tab
at the top of the screen, and then select the upload icon on the same row as
the name of your paper. The upload icon (third column from the right) will open
a dialog box that will enable you to select and upload the full paper file via
the web or via FTP.
If authors would like to post their papers
electronically on any web site, any ftp site, or any other electronic
dissemination technique, they must include the IEEE Copyright notice on the
initial screen displaying the IEEE-copyrighted material. Additional information

Extended versions of presented paper can be
submitted for publication to the IEEE journal listed below.
IEEE Magnetic Letters, IEEE Transactions on
Instrumentation and Measurement. IEEE Systems Journal, Journal of Magnetism and

Agreement with other prospective Journals is on
Submitting the extended version for publication,
the Authors are required to satisfy the following guidelines:
- The paper must be technically extended beyond
the scope of the paper appeared in the conference proceedings. If this
constraint has not been satisfactorily fulfilled, the paper cannot be accepted
- At the time of submission, the Authors must
provide detailed information (in a separate file to be uploaded as part of the
submission process) regarding how the paper is a technically extended version
of the proceedings paper.
- The proceedings paper must be clearly referred
to in the text and listed as one of the references of the new submitted paper.
- The paper must be within the scope of IEEE
journal selected by the Authors and must be properly framed in the state-of-the-art
of the considered subject, also by including a meaningful reference list of
papers recently published in qualified literature in the same or strictly
related subjects. Moreover, the contribution of the submitted paper in terms of
novelty of technical content must be clearly highlighted.
